Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Unfortunately, we are not currently accepting returns or exchanges. If you are unhappy with your order, please send us a message, either at customer-support@hallowedfolk.com or through our contact page!

I don't live in the US, do you ship internationally?

I do ship internationally for an additional fee. Those fees will be calculated at checkout. Domestic Shipping (In the United States, however, is free.)

What fibers do you work with?

I work with a variety of fibers. I always include the fiber content of each item I make in the product description. When filling out custom orders for crocheted items, please put in the form any textile allergies you may have! (ie: Wool, silk, synthetic fibers)

What's your favorite yarn to work with?

I honestly don't have a favorite line of yarn. I enjoy using whimsical yarn that has a variety of colors, textures, and/or fibers in a single skein. I also love using yarn that has sparkles incorporated into it. Lately, I have been using more loops and thread yarn, for the thicker, more plush like feel, but I use just about anything. I like a stiffer yarn when making hats and stuffed animals, but I like a softer, more pliable yarn when making pillows and other home goods.  

Do you have recommendations for resources to learn how to crochet for complete beginners?

I wish I had specific resources to suggest, but I don't. I learned most of what I know from YouTube tutorials and various crochet patterns. Local craft stores in your area might also have crochet and knitting classes they offer, as well as local libraries, if you are a more hands on learner. Look for events that have to do with crafting and, funnily enough, you might have luck at a senior center.

I would like to budget for your next restock, can you please share with me how much your products cost?

My prices vary as many things are factored into the price (such as materials, labor, etc.) Here is rough idea of how much some of my designs cost. These prices include shipping if the product is shipped within the US. These prices are just for the basic designs, and do not include products made with high quality yarn or products that include extra embellishments like added motifs, extra details on the brim, etc.

Do you make your hats in child sizes?

I currently do not offer hats in child sizes. If you are interested in a child’s size hat, please message customer-support@hallowedfolk.com or fill out a custom order form. I will be more than happy to discuss ideas with you! I try to make all requests happen, but as a small business owner who does not do this full time, please understand some orders will not be fulfillable. (For example, if you need 12 child size witch hats in a week for a birthday party, I would not be able to fulfill that request.)
