For hundreds of years, the Tudor Family dynasty has fascinated us as onlookers. The intense desire for every generation to have a son, the fear the rule would end in it’s infancy and the legacy left behind by Henry the 8th.
Catherine of Aragon was Henry the 8th's first of many wives, but before she married the Tudor king, she was married to his older brother Arthur. It would be seven years after his death that she would marry Henry. This great queen held onto the belief that she was England's rightful queen after her marriage to Henry was annulled and he married Anne Boleyn, the second wife and mother to the future queen, Elizabeth the first. And so did many others throughout the Tudor kingdom.
